Wireless G Routers
1 .
Linksys-Cisco WRT54GL Wireless-G Broadband Router
The Linksys Wireless G router has been around for a while and features 6 ethernet ports (depending on the model) and has a large wireless range. It can host printer sharing, file sharing, and can do just about anything you need for it to do. It is also the best buy for a savvy tech person because it can support all forms of customization.
The Drawback, however, occurs in its lack of security. It can be hacked by a beginning hacker in about a week.
Overall it is a great buy for any home or business.
2.
Apple AirPort Extreme Base Station (MC340LL/A)
The Airport Extreme is another magnificent apple product that is built for the average user. It is extremeley easy to set up and can function in both G and N bands.
The Airport Extreme also has a large wireless range and can be further increased.
However, it has limited PC support and can often be difficult to connect and install on a PC based computer network.
Overall, if Apple could fix its compatibality problems it would be a top pick.
3.
D-Link 4-Port Wireless-G 108Mbps Router
The Netgear Wireless router is an affordable and userfriendly router for any home or office.
It is an all around good quality router and is less expensive than the Airport or Linksys.
However, it offers less wireless connectivity than Linksys or Aiprort Extreme.
